Anna Repole
Anna is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who holds a Master of Counselling degree from the City University of Seattle. Prior to this she gained a Bachelors Degree in Law. She has worked in the mental health field for over a decade in various roles, including crisis counselling and case work in mental health and substance use. She recognizes the need for a neurodiversity affirming, multicultural, and trauma informed lens throughout the work she does. She recognizes the gifts that come along with neurodiversity and how important it is for all ways of ‘being’ to be appreciated. She is passionate about supporting those from childhood onward on their mental health journey, and recognizes what a great privilege it is to walk beside clients on their path to wellness.
Aside from professional experience, Anna has lived experience with family members who are neurodivergent, with diagnosis such as Autism and ADH(D). She has seen some of the obstacles that neurodivergent folks face within the world, and is passionate about supporting and advocating for their individual needs. Neurodivergence along with co-occurring mental health concerns are frequently seen, and societal, familial, biological considerations are important to Anna when she considers a holistic approach to therapy.

Welcome. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, especially if you’ve been navigating life’s difficulties on your own or haven’t always felt fully understood. In my practice I offer a warm, safe, and neurodiversity-affirming space where your experiences are respected, your pace is honoured, and you are met with care and genuine acceptance. I work from a trauma-informed, strength-based perspective, where I believe that “challenging” behaviours in neurodivergence adults or children are often ways of coping, communicating, or being seen in a world that doesn’t always accommodate their needs. Therapy is a collaborative process— together we explore your experiences, patterns, needs, and strengths at a pace that feels supportive and respectful.

Specializations: Autism ADHD Anxiety Burnout/Stress Life transitions Sensory processing differences PDA Couples Parents/Caregivers Late-identifying neurodivergent adults
I am committed to providing neurodivergent-affirming and inclusive care that recognizes and respects the diverse ways individuals process, communicate, learn, and experience the world. My approach is strengths-focused, centering on clients’ inherent abilities and unique perspectives, rather than viewing neurodivergence through a deficit-based lens.
I am neurodivergent, and am a parent to neurodivergent kids. Many of my closest friends, members of my extended family, and colleagues are also neurodivergent. My professional experiences, relationships, and lived experiences as a neurodivergent person have deeply informed my counselling approaches and practices. I am a late-identifying neurodivergent adult who specializes in supporting other adults going through this experience. I also work with neurodivergent youth, adults, parents/caregivers, couples, and families on a range of issues connected to neurodivergent identity, relationship and family dynamics, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, and environmental and systemic adaptations.
Approach & Modalities: Neurodivergent people have to navigate environments, systems, and social structures that are not designed with their neurotypes in mind, and this often takes a significant toll on their mental and physical health. I work collaboratively with clients to create systems and supports that recognize and celebrate their needs and authentic ways of being. My work with clients extends beyond developing individual therapeutic strategies to include broader shifts in understanding, accessibility, and advocacy. I draw on neurodivergent-affirming modalities such as Truly Inclusive Spaces therapy and Neurodivergent Somatics, as well as polyvagal theory, ACT, MBCT, and expressive arts.
Communication Style: I am validating and empathetic. I meet each person where they are and engage and listen deeply - with curiosity and warmth. I think “outside of the box” and approach all challenges with creativity and flexibility. I understand that communication and processing styles vary, and make sure to use visual, written, or auditory resources that best support my clients.
Fun Facts or Interests: I love spending time in nature; hiking, beachcombing, stargazing, and paddleboarding. I love music, and for the past two decades have been a choir director, singer, and songwriter. I also have a background in theatre and creative writing.

RCC
Welcome! I’m Riley, a Registered Clinical Counsellor who is passionate about walking alongside children, teens, and their families as they navigate life’s ups and downs. My practice is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that every young person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported just as they are.
For the past six years, I’ve worked in schools as both a teacher and counsellor, supporting youth with a wide range of strengths, needs, and learning styles. I’ve had the privilege of learning from developmentally diverse young people and their families, and those experiences continue to remind me that there is no one “right” way to grow, learn, or experience the world.
I specialize in supporting children and adolescents (ages 5–18) in areas such as: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety & stress, Depression, Giftedness Self-esteem & belonging, Challenges at school, Grief & Loss, Interpersonal relationships, Emotional regulation, and offer Parenting/Family support.
Every brain works in its own unique and wonderful way, and I see neurodivergence as difference, not deficit. My goal is to celebrate strengths while providing support in the areas that feel most challenging. I like to meet young people where they are, whether that’s through conversation, creativity, learning new skills, or trying out practical strategies for everyday life. I also offer animal-assisted interventions with my certified therapy dog, Maggie. She has a calming, gentle presence and helps many people feel more at ease, opening space for connection, comfort, and play in sessions. My approach to counselling is flexible, collaborative, and led by the young person’s voice.
I strive to be clear, supportive, and responsive. I often use humour, stories, metaphors, visuals, or hands-on activities to make sessions engaging and relatable. Maggie is a wonderful co-counsellor too!
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hiking with Maggie, puzzling over a jigsaw, playing board games with friends, collecting houseplants until my home resembles a mini jungle, or searching the beach for sea glass treasures.
Looking forward to connecting with you!

Courtney is passionate about creating a non-judgemental space that allows clients to experience, accept, and celebrate their most authentic selves.
Courtney is a Registered Clinical Counsellor whose main area of specialty is working with people struggling with disordered eating and eating disorders. Over the past 6 years she has worked on multidisciplinary teams with youth, adults and families in community-based eating disorder programs and in private practice.
Courtney strives to support people with eating challenges in cultivating a safe and nourishing relationship with themselves, food, and with their bodies so that they can live fulfilling and authentic lives. Courtney recognizes that traditional eating disorder therapies and approaches seldom take Neurodivergence into consideration. She therefore feels strongly about building a collaborative relationship with her clients in order to provide personalized therapeutic support to meet their specific needs. She believes in a responsive feeding approach and is informed by a Health at Every Size (HAES).
As the mother of a young child, Courtney is also passionate about perinatal mental health and loves working with folks who are pregnant, postpartum, or in the process of starting a family. She understands how becoming a parent can make us aware of the parts of ourselves that need re-parenting, and can cause our identities to go through an often uncomfortable metamorphosis.
Courtney takes a client-centred, trauma-informed approach, using a blend of therapeutic modalities to fit the needs of each individual client. Somatic/body-based therapies, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work/, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are a few of the approaches she uses most often. Most importantly, she strives to build a strong, authentic alliance with clients so that they feel seen and supported while exploring the range of their experience and working together towards their therapeutic goals.

I have been working as both a middle and high school counsellor in SD 61 and SD 63 since 2012. Previously, I worked as a Crisis Intervention Counsellor for the Youth Empowerment society at both their Youth Detox and Youth Shelter where I spent more than six years working with youth at risk. I am passionate about helping people make informed choices in order to be their best selves. Often, it only takes one loving adult to change the life of a struggling child, and as educators, we have the opportunity to be that person for many and what an honour it is. I also believe in the power of collaboration, especially when it comes to fostering resilience in the lives of young people. My motto is: “Invests in the person, not the outcome” and believe that mental health should be looked at through a holistic lens.
My counselling style is non-judgemental, but I also like to challenge my client’s negative assumptions and perceptions. My goal is to help you see things differently, and guide you in finding solutions that work best for you and your family.

Specializations: Ages: 12+ Sport-mental performance Teens School challenges ADHD Relationships/Friendships Couples Life transitions Anxiety Depression Parenting Support Self/Co-regulation Neurodiversity-Affirming Statement: I approach neurodivergence as a strength and as a positive. Finding ourselves, accepting ourselves, and living out ourselves, is essential to self-fulfillment. Experience with Neurodivergence, Parenting, or other relevant experience for your specializations: I have been a High School Counsellor for the past 10 years, but a teacher for almost 20 years. I am a father of 3 boys (16, 13, 10), and my youngest is neurodivergent, which presents many gifts and challenges! I have a tremendous amount of experience working with teens facing challenges with: anxiety, ADHD, depression, family life, relationships, friendships, and all things school-related. In conjunction with working with students, I have worked alongside parents to help them better support their child. Furthermore, sport has played a massive role in my overall development as a person and as a professional. I was and am curious about the mental performance side of sport and the role it plays for each individual. Sport and exercise are undeniably interconnected with mental health; it is something I strive for everyday! I have been fortunate to have coached a variety of sports for 25 years (soccer, baseball, and rugby), of which has benefitted me immensely in Counselling. Empathy, problem-solving skills, and humility are all characteristics that I honed and sharpened through playing sports and strive to honour and grow each day. Approach & Modalities: I work from a strength-based approach, appreciating and celebrating individuality, with the goal of empowering each person to find their way through their challenge; ultimately, I want to meet people where they are at in their journey. Helping people discover their courage is foundational to how I approach my work. I primarily operate through a Solution Focussed lens, to co-create strategies that are both fair and achievable, and then following up on the follow through, to see what direction to go next, together. I also use CBT to identify challenges and which techniques would be a best fit to move forward. Finally, Narrative Therapy can be powerful in the re-storying/reframing of specific patterns or behaviours which are negatively impacting the day-to-day; story matters. Finally, I love being in nature, so I am most definitely open to walking and talking. Communication Style: I enjoy building rapport and getting to know individuals. I am transparent and open about who I am. I have a light, sometimes dry sense of humour, but will always be validating. At the same time, I can be direct. Fun Facts or Interests: I am a vegetable gardner and fruit grower. I have 2 dogs (Maverick and Bandit) whom I love to bits. When inspired, I love to write poetry. And when the weather permits, I love hiking and backcountry camping with family and friends. As always, exercise is ever-present in my day-to-day life!

Mrs. Annabelle Picard
(She/Her/Hers)
MA., RCC.
Annabelle strongly believes that everyone is doing the best they can with the strategies they have. She is deeply committed to meeting every person where they are at and supporting them through exploration, that is both collaborative and proactive in nature, towards what her clients deem as a more fulfilling path forward. As a mother of two children herself, she empathizes with the emotional weight and responsibility of parenting. Her practice is focused on intensifying the connection between caregiver and child and providing practical, feel-good tools and strategies.
She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 6 years of professional experience supporting neurodivergent children, teens, young adults, and their families. With an educational and career background in community-based mental health support, school counselling, and classroom support, she has a deep understanding of the challenges ND individuals and their families face because of a neurotypically-focused world, at each developmental stage, in and out of the home. Although Anabelle has never practiced applied behavioural therapy, she does have experience working with children who have been affected by its practices and brings to the center a wealth of knowledge on how to support these individuals.
By focusing on the child, rather than their behaviour, and the parent, before their parenting, we can appropriately examine the impact of misplaced demands and expectations that lead to conflict and shame. Informed by Ross Greene’s Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach and combining cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, Annabelle is committed to helping individuals and families identify and reach their goals. Her approach is devoted to steering support for neurodivergent folks away from punitive and exclusionary practices. She feels strongly that the counselling process should be positive and focused on enhancing connection between individuals and their families.
